Founded in 2018 through the joint synergy of Arcora and Başkent University, Arcora Garage Academy is a pioneering industry-university collaboration project that breathes new life into interior design education. Inspired by the philosophy of "Learning by Doing on Site", this unique academy model connects future designers with the realities of the industry while they are still in university.
Expanding the limits of academic knowledge into the production floor, this program offers interior design undergraduate students the opportunity to test theoretical design principles in practice. Bringing together skilled artisans who have spent years in the sector and esteemed university academics under the same roof, Arcora Garage Academy creates a rich environment for sharing knowledge in fields like woodwork, metal shaping, and paint technologies.
During their time in our production workshops, our students are not mere observers but active participants in the production process.
